Mr. Wilfred Barnett

Teacher

Mr. Wilfred Barnett, OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher) for English, history and social sciences. He received both BA and MA degrees in History from the University of Toronto, where he was awarded the Michael Bliss Essay Prize for the best essay in Canadian political history in 2013. Mr. Barnett also studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City with focus on Shakespeare studies. Mr. Barnett holds a Master of Teaching degree from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at University of Toronto and is specialized in teaching academic writing at senior levels.

Ms. Brie

Ms. Brie

Teacher

Ms. Brie has a master’s degree in political science with a specialization in Political Economy, Honors BA in Political Science, and Honours BA in History.  She has a diverse background and has the opportunity to take many different types of courses during her university career and in the International Baccalaureate program during High School. She has over 6 years of teaching experience working with students up to undergraduate level. In her teaching, Ms. Brie always aims to boost the confidence of students in learning. The key to success is ensuring the foundational knowledge is well-developed, refined, and comprehensive. This allows students to build and grow successfully to their future ambitions and objectives. 

Ms. Moyle

Ms. Moyle

Teacher

Ms. Moyle has over 20 years of experience as a professional actor, director, and playwrighter in addition to her teaching career. Ms. Moyle brings her expertise as a skilled communicator, writer, and public speaker to the classroom. Ms. Moyle has taught speech and drama to students at both the elementary and secondary levels in multiple district school boards. She is currently focus on coaching for public speaking and academic writing.

Ms. Celina Ip

Teacher

Ms. Ip, OCT, is fully proficient in both teaching English and French. Ms. Ip is currently teaching French immersion program in Peel District School Board. After graduating from the University of Toronto and OISE’s Concurrent Teacher Education Program, Ms. Ip completed post-graduate studies in Journalism at the University of King's College in Halifax. She strives to inspire students to become confident and compassionate young leaders who are eager to use both of Canada's official languages to communicate and inspire others effectively. 

Ms. Levstek

Ms. Levstek

Teacher

Ms. Levstek, OAKLearning Center High School Mathematics Teacher. Bachelor of Mathematics Education (Basic, Intermediate and Senior Level in Mathematics). Master of Mathematics. Over 25 years rich experience in teaching high school mathematics, especially grade 10-12 math subjects and AP math, SAT math. Now is working for Halton school board. Ms. Luisa’s love of mathematics, rich knowledge, lively and interesting teaching methods have greatly benefited our students.

Ms. Banga

Ms. Banga

Teacher

Ms. Banga holds a master’s degree in biotechnology and a degree in Education. She is TESOL certified and has more than a decade of experience in teaching and mentoring students across grade levels in North America. Ms. Banga has been a curriculum designer for English curriculum for private high schools in USA and Canada. She also taught subjects such as biology, and chemistry in top-tier private high schools in Canada. She is passionate about science and English language arts. Her goal is to make learning fun and enjoyable across all ages.

Ms. Zarevich

Ms. Zarevich

Teacher

Ms. Zarevich graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Honours English. She is a certified TESL teacher teaching for different learning institutions in GTA. Ms. Zarevich is also an experienced writer published articles on different magazines. She looks forward to working with your child to guide them towards heightening their command of the English written word and language.

Mr. Herminio

Mr. Herminio

Teacher

Mr. Herminio, M.A., B.A., B. Ed., a Bachelor of Education in English and Spanish, Mr. Herminio spent years doing what he does best - teaching foreign languages. He graduated with honors at University in Cuba and continued his pedagogical career working as a Professor and School Principal as well as Head of the Psycho-Pedagogic Department at Matanzas University where he won several pedagogic awards as a Linguistics researcher. He is fluent in Spanish and English. He is passionate about instilling his passion for languages in his students.
