WHAT OUR CAMPS ARE ABOUT?
People sometimes call our camps Robotic Camps or Science Camps. That’s ok because our camps are designed around robotics and science projects. We want kids to have a lot of fun, and we want kids to be inspired by STEM, innovation, and sharing in an engaging and supportive team environment.
In every one-week camp, in addition to small science projects on a daily basis, campers will learn to build and program at least one fully functioning robot to accomplish a pre-defined mission. Campers will also be working in teams to do their project presentation to showcase their learning experience and accomplishments.
Our camp programming is balanced with daily team activities, science projects, outdoor recreations, and a nutritious hot lunch prepared by and enjoyed in Fortinos. Afternoon fruits and snacks are also provided for the busy bodies and minds.
These camps are offered during the spring break week in March and up to 11 weeks in June, July, and August.

Yes, of course. Our camp is designed to inspire kids for STEAM and innovation in a friendly and supportive environment. By using our innovative programming tools, no single line of coding is needed to program their robot, while key programming ideas and concepts are utilized throughout the process.
Face masks, a water bottle, a heart to explore and lots of smiles.
Camps are also about forging friendships and having fun with buddies. Therefore, we do offer a sibling discount. From time to time, we also provide other discounts such as early bird discounts, camp buddy discounts, multi-week discounts, etc. Please register to receive updates, or email us at info@oaklearningcenter.com to ask for details and/or a promotion code to use at online registration.
Regardless of how many weeks your child is enrolled, she/he will always have something to learn, to explore and to have fun. In each level of our RoboRobo™ programs, there are over a dozen of robots at different challenge levels to learn and practice. Most importantly, the imagination of a child is boundless. After having learned the fundamentals of building and programming, your child can and is encouraged to innovate and build his/her very own robot!
This daily schedule is a sample only. We strive to provide campers with the best experience. Daily schedule may be adjusted based on each week's camper group dynamics, weather of the day, or some other consideration.
