Confident Communicators

Better grammar and vocabulary help kids speak up in class and ace presentations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the format of the classes?

We offer small group sessions as well as 1-on-1 options, both in-person and online — based on what works best for the learner.

How do you assess the current English level?

All learners undergo a short placement assessment to determine their current skill level. This helps us tailor the learning plan accordingly.

How long is the program?

The duration varies depending on the learner’s goals. We offer flexible scheduling — from short-term improvement to long-term academic and communication support.

Can I choose online/in-person classes?

Yes! We offer both formats. You can switch anytime based on your convenience and availability.

Will there be progress reports?

Absolutely. For children, regular feedback is shared with parents. For adults, we provide personalized progress reviews and recommendations.

Are the tutors certified?

Yes. All our instructors are experienced and certified, with expertise in either Ontario curriculum (for school students) or ESL/adult education (for adult learners).

What if I miss a class?

We understand life gets busy. We offer flexible rescheduling for missed sessions with prior notice.

Do I need any prior knowledge to start?

Not at all. Whether you're just starting out or want to build on existing skills — we have the right level and support to help you grow.

Case Studies: Visible Improvement

After a student finishes a 12-session learning period in around three months, we give the student another AI-based adaptive assessment to gauge the improvement that the student has made in the learning period. The charts below are not the report itself. These are summaries of historical assessment reports to give students, parents, and tutors a snapshot of how the student has been progressing since joining this Advanced Learner's Club.

English Reading

Mark is a student in grade 8. He joined the English and Math Advanced Learner's Club in September 2021. In his first adaptive assessment, he scored 1,106 in the 35th percentile against all grade 8 students in the U.S.A., indicating severe issues in his reading comprehension skills. After nine months, his assessment score improved to 1,168 at the 51st percentile level. Mark gained only 6 points in his first half of study, but he earned 56 points in his second half of study. This is a normal and very common phenomenon. As students continue to build stronger foundations, they become more confident and skillful in learning.

Language Arts

Angeline is a 7th-grade student in the 2021-2022 school year. She joined the English and Math Advanced Learner's Club in September 2021 and has diligently worked on her weekly homework. She meets her tutor at the center every week. In the span of 9 months, she made fantastic improvements in her English writing skills. Her adaptive assessment reports show that her national percentile ranking among all students in the U.S.A. jumped from the 59th percentile to the 95th percentile. She went from being a below-grade student to becoming a top-tier student in English writing in just nine months. Furthermore, she observed much faster improvement in the second half of her learning journey.

Mathematics

Harvey joined the English and Math Advanced Learner's Club in October 2021 when he was in grade 4. Despite starting with a relatively low score of 916 at the 18th percentile in the national ranking, he remained committed to following the learning path created by his tutor. He diligently stuck to his learning schedule and showed exemplary improvement. In just 7 months, his third assessment score increased from 916 to 1,175, placing him at an outstanding 98th percentile in the national ranking. It is common for students in lower grades to make significant improvements in a relatively short period of time. The good learning habits developed during this process will benefit him greatly in the future.
